Alejandra Silva & Manon LaFlamme
Alex has been working with STERIS Canada for 12 years. STERIS is a global leader in infection prevention technologies and contamination control. They manufacture both equipment and products required to operate a Medical Device Reprocessing Department. Alex currently holds the position of Consumable Territory Manager for Western Ontario and Manitoba. She has also complete her CSAO, CSA and IAHCSMM certification.
Manon Laflamme began her journey within in the Medical Device Reprocessing business in 1988 as a Reprocessing Technician for the Ottawa Hospital. Since then, she has performed many different roles in the Medical Device Reprocessing world, from Ontario to British Colombia; as a technician, supervisor, coordinator and manager. She partook in the development of the Endoscopy Reprocessing Manual for the Vancouver Island Health authority. She was first certified in 1989 through CSAO (Central Services Association of Ontario) and is also certified through CSA (Canadian Standard Association) & IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management). She has been working with the STERIS team since 2017, as a Clinical Education Specialist, for all of eastern Canada.
