Chiropodist Wanted for full time employment in Sudbury. Plus opportunity to own clinic.
Apply soon, this will not last:
*60/40 % Split for 1 year to start you off. Yes, you get 60% from all patients you treat.
*If you want a salary, that is also fine: 90k for first year.
*For first year, we both work. I will try to pass many of my own and new patients towards you so you can build a following. I will pay front staff, rent, heat, hydro, all expenses to operate the clinic (orthotics split with minus the cost, of course). Two assessments to determine suitability during this period. I will provide training for new grads. Experience an asset. Doing “Business” is not easy…it is a whole different set of challenges than that of clinical care, but I will make you learn all the ropes! You are building rapport with your patients and you will inherit your own patient load to continue on as their preferred practitioner, so keeping an excellent care-relationship only helps you.
*Then from second year, I will decide on full partnership 50/50, based on first year assessment.
* FULL partnership 50/50 after 1 year, when you yourself will find that it is a much better deal that way based on income you see for yourself. We both pay all expenses and split ALL income 50/50, from year 1 to 5. It’s a practise built over 28 years, and we have an excellent reputation, and many new patients daily. Sounds good? But wait, there is more…
*Potential to OWN the whole practise in the 6th year with all my patients built over 28 years-plus, with excellent word-of-mouth referrals, and doc referrals in Northern Ontario! You will transition gently and comfortably, build your own patient load which you will inherit, and inherit all my patients and the full practise later (of course, we can negotiate all equipment, ESWT, Lasers, etc. and chattels at the time with excellent rates). We have an excellent 4-corner location in the Medical Arts Centre with tons of parking, many family physicians in the building, with great traffic and huge signage facing the road for Medical Centre Foot Clinic and Orthotics!
*What you need:
* Must be in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario.
* Provide treatment/management plans for various foot conditions: corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, nail surgeries, fungal infections, diabetic foot care, wound management, be able to inject local anesthetics and cortisone, provide oral and topical Rx’s, compression socks cert. an asset, ESWT, Laser (we will guide/teach all that you need to learn, if necessary), be able to practise full scope per COCOO. Perform detailed biomechanical assessments, prescribe & modify/adjust custom foot orthoses when necessary
We shall provide:
*A very friendly and approachable experienced Foot Specialist to work with! My aim is to have someone to take over the practise who is compassionate and ethical to care for our grateful patients (many of whom are repeat loyal patients.)
How to apply: Please send your CV and Cover at footclinic@eastlink.ca or riazbagha08@gmail.com.
Once you see amazing Sudbury, you will say this is a wonderful place to stay and practise (we have tons of lakes, hiking trails, and greenery all around.). Rents in Sudbury are fairer; plus outdoor lifestyle, raising kids, and less traffic makes Sudbury an excellent hub to live and work! We have Costco, Medical School, two big hospitals, big box stores, and excellent schools!
